Resume Tips (Part 1)

Your resume is very important. It is the first glimpse of YOU that the employer sees. Whether you are applying for an executive, managerial, or staff position, it does not really matter. The critical thing is that your resume contents and layout fits the position that they are currently looking for.

When you are writing your resume, make sure that you present it with a cover letter that highlights your career. For succeeding pages, make sure that you list your work experience in a reverse chronological order, which means that you write the recent ones first. For the new graduates, it is best to start your resume with your educational attainment or any on-the-job training experiences.
